Restaurants and Bars

Cardiff Bay is full to bursting with bars and
restaurants, all situated on the harbour front and just
minutes from the hotel and the Wales Millennium Centre. You
may also wish to visit the bars and restaurants in Cardiff's
city centre (about a mile from Cardiff Bay), including the new
Brewery Quarter which is home to a wide range of restaurants,
from Tapas to Thai. If you hear someone ordering "a pint
of brains", don't be alarmed; they are referring to the
local beer which is brewed in Cardiff and a favourite amongst
the locals.
Smoking is now banned in all enclosed public
places in Wales since a new law came into force on April 2nd
2007. This includes all restaurants, bars and clubs.
