Andrew Matthews-Owen again to showcase the work of some of the UK’s foremost contemporary composers and musicians.

March 4th: Internationally acclaimed Trio Fibonacci offers eloquent and insightful interpretations of the music of Beethoven, Schumann, Robert Fokkens and Michael Nyman.
April 15th: As I Have Now Memoyre by Nicholas Brown (2008). Nicholas Brown`s immersive performance-piece on the relationship between music and memory. Vocal artists Linda Hirst and Natasha Lohan inhabit an installation that is assembled during the course of the show.

May 20th: Catrin Finch, one of the of the world`s greatest harpists, performs music from Bach to Britten and favourites by Debussy and Smetana.
June 3rd: Brodowsky Quartet are rapidly establishing a reputation as one of the most exciting string quartets. They will perform works by Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Janacek, Schulhoff and Piazzolla.

July 1st: Pianist Douglas Finch performs ‘Preludes,Plus...’ including Bach, Franck and his new Chopin
Preludes transcription/fantasy with dancers from Laban. Douglas will conclude the evening by improvising on themes given by the audience…
September 2nd: Lilly: My Debussy World Premiere performance of a groundbreaking musical drama portraying the tragic life of the composer`s first wife. Dramatic monologue is interwoven with Debussy`s
songs, to reveal a compelling insight into the composer`s enigmatic character. With singer actress Sian Jones and Andrew Matthews-Owen.
October 7th: The Royal Academy of Music Manson Ensemble return to the Louise Blouin Foundation with a programme of American Experimentalism. Major figures such as John Cage and Morton Feldman were heavily influenced by the arts scene of New York in the mid-twentieth century. Tonight`s programme presents classic works from that period alongside new works by Academy composers.
November 4th: Claire Booth (soprano), Nicky Spence (tenor), Andrew Radley (countertenor), Andrew Matthews-Owen (piano) and Bridget Cunningham (harpsichord) Works for voice, piano and
harpsichord from the early masters to Britten, Hoddinott and a World Premiere by Jonathan Dove performed by some of the UK`s leading songsters.
Each event will be preceded by a complimentary discussion and interview led by broadcaster Katie Derham or series Director Andrew Matthews-Owen in conversation with composers and performers.
